The committee reviewed and approved two ordinances: one authorizing a design-build contract for the Blue River Wastewater Treatment Plant Grit Removal and Fine Screens Project to improve grit removal and support new thermal hydrolysis processes, and another authorizing a construction contract for the Phase II Water Main Replacement project to improve distribution system reliability and fire protection capabilities. Additionally, a resolution regarding the enforcement and support of property owner responsibilities for sidewalk snow and ice removal was discussed and held in committee until a future date.
