The board discussed strategic plan updates, building and program communications, and reviewed the contract settlement with the Sparta Education Association. Additionally, the board considered the School Bond Loan Fund borrowing, an auditorium lighting replacement project, and updates to the administrator salary scale, contract proposals, and the superintendent's contract. Action was taken to approve the SEA contract, the 2026 tax rates, the MHSAA resolution for the upcoming school year, and the creation of a new online high school program.
