The commission approved the issuance of 501c3 bonds for the Creek at 2645 apartments, a project involving the acquisition and rehabilitation of multifamily housing units. Furthermore, the commission received an introduction and update from CVR Associates regarding an independent assessment of the agency's operations, development programs, and governance structure, with a final report expected by the end of the year.

The meeting included a discussion and resolution for the San Juan Apartments Phase 2 project, specifically regarding amendments to the Permanent Local Housing Allocation Program and HOME Investment Partnerships Program loan agreements, as well as a recommendation for additional project financing. The commission reviewed the agency's annual comprehensive financial report and single audit. The commission held a public hearing regarding compliance with Assembly Bill 2561 and Government Code 3502.3 concerning vacancies and recruitment efforts. Additionally, the commission authorized the award and approval of annual expenditure caps and per contract caps for 2026 and subsequent years. The meeting also included an update from the Safety and Security Committee II.
