Victor Valley Union High School District Local Control and Accountability Plan 2026-2027
This Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) outlines strategies to enhance student success and equity across the Victor Valley Union High School District. Key priorities include providing a robust, equity-based academic program with measurable impact on middle and high school outcomes; fostering a safe learning environment and positive school climate with strong community engagement; and ensuring access to clean campuses, technology, sufficient instructional materials, and highly qualified teachers. A specific focus goal addresses increasing academic achievement, graduation rates, and college readiness for African American students while decreasing their suspension rates. Additionally, it targets improved graduation and college/career indicators for all students at Goodwill Independent Study, with an emphasis on African American, Hispanic, and Low-Income students, and aims to improve math outcomes for Low-Income students.
