BoardBoard Of Trustees Of Grand Valley State University Annual Meeting
The Board approved the 2027 meeting schedule, an honorary degree for Dr. Peter W. Laird, and various personnel actions. Policy revisions regarding faculty probationary appointments and tenure procedures were adopted. The Board approved the 2026-2027 General Fund budget, the acquisition of the John G. Russell Building, the sale of property, and the appointment of the Charter School Board of Directors. Reports were received on institutional advancement, information technology, and intercollegiate athletics. The Board also elected new officers and recognized the outgoing Board Chair for her service.
