The Paxtang Borough Mini-Comprehensive Plan: PART A serves as a foundational document for community development, outlining a comprehensive strategy to guide the borough's public policies. It focuses on developing a clear community vision, establishing goals and objectives, creating a future land use and development plan, and formulating an implementation strategy based on local input and analysis of key trends. Key focus areas include general community and land use development, residential neighborhoods and housing, commercial business, community facilities, transportation, community pride and identity, heritage preservation, environmental/natural resources, and community design. The plan's vision aims to maintain, enhance, and promote the borough's clean, safe, and green neighborhoods and downtown, preserve traditional development patterns, foster sustainable businesses, and uphold the quality of elementary schools, parks/recreation, utilities, services, interconnected transportation, and important historic and natural heritage.
