Finally, the board finalized various personnel actions, including new staff additions and a mid-contract termination.

The Board of Regents reviewed and approved a resolution of support for the Texas Commission on Community College Finance recommendations regarding a restructured state financing model. Additionally, the Board authorized the College President to negotiate and execute a contract to purchase land using available surplus funds to accommodate future college facilities.

The strategic plan for Ranger College aims to cultivate a culture of quality through three primary goals: increasing enrollment, improving communication, and enhancing facilities. Key initiatives include implementing intrusive advising and active student recruitment plans, designing and deploying a strategic communications plan with improved technologies, and undertaking significant facility remodels and repairs. The overall vision is to transform lives and empower students with skills to positively influence their communities, solidifying Ranger College's role as a trusted leader in training and education.
