The 'Innovate 2028' vision for Saint Xavier University aims to establish it as a thriving Catholic, Mercy university on Chicago's South Side, recognized for producing successful, career-ready graduates grounded in its mission. The plan focuses on four key priorities: improving student success and experiences, investing in people and modernizing facilities, refreshing and distinguishing academic programs, and elevating philanthropy and engagement. It also includes a mission integration goal to embed its Catholic, Mercy heritage into all aspects of the university, fostering critical thinking, diversity, inclusion, and community through shared values and service.
