City Council Budget Work Session Meeting
The City Council conducted a budget work session for the FY 2027 fiscal year. The meeting focused on discussing budget constraints and a projected budget gap, as well as an overview of essential service costs for city residents compared to other Texas cities. Presentations were scheduled from the Environmental Services, Water Department, and Transportation and Public Works departments regarding rates and fees. The Council also engaged in a discussion regarding the factors contributing to cost differences between Fort Worth and other municipalities.
