Hempfield School District Regular Board Meeting
The board meeting included staff recognitions, a superintendent's report covering district updates and a calendar of future events, and reports from various representatives including the IU 13, Safety and Security, PSBA Liaison, and Lancaster County Academy. The standing committees, including Education and Programs and Policy, Personnel, and Legal, provided reports. The board approved various personnel action items, including the return of extracurricular employees and volunteers for the upcoming school year. Additionally, the board approved several financial reports for June and May 2026, including activity funds, athletic spending, and general fund check reports, as well as capital projects fund payments. A first reading of Board Policy 109 regarding school library materials was also conducted.
