The subcommittee discussed various alcohol license applications and requests. This included the postponement of the application for Eggholic due to absence. The committee reviewed and found the paperwork in order for the upcoming openings of Rocco's and Citrus and Salt. Additionally, a request for temporary alcohol service during the grand opening event for Wonder was discussed, including specific service protocols.

The board discussed motor vehicle commitments for approval and held an executive session regarding exemptions, abatements, and Appellate Tax Board matters. Additionally, the board received a report from the Town Appraiser concerning ongoing cyclical inspections.

The Recreation Commission discussed several operational topics, including staffing updates for maintenance positions and the transition of administrative roles. The Director provided reports on Spring maintenance projects, including the use of field lining robots and improvements to the community garden. Budgetary updates were provided regarding the Ways and Means Committee and Capital Budget Committee approvals, as well as a significant donation received from the LeBlanc family. Additionally, the Assistant Director reported on project setbacks at Overlook Park, new program registration and pricing strategies, and the progress of therapeutic recreation initiatives. The Commission also addressed new business, including the appointment of an Administrative Assistant, the usage of park parking lots, and old business regarding entrance wall repairs at Simonds Park.

The Select Board addressed several key agenda items, including various police personnel promotions and the approval of event permits for 'People Helping People.' A proclamation for Pride Month was read. The Board conducted public hearings regarding a new liquor license for Eggholic, an alteration of premises for Friendly Toast, and the status of the Polk Street project. Presentations were received concerning the Eversource Substation Project and the Middlesex Turnpike Visioning initiative. Additionally, the Board approved a new Municipal Aggregation Agreement, a telecommunications license renewal, a waiver for earth-moving permits for the police station and Fox Hill School, the annual administration contract evaluation, and an amended message board policy.

The board conducted a warrant article review regarding the Historical West School Storage Shed. Discussions included the availability of necessary backup documentation, the project's funding requirements, historical context dating back to 2022, and the requirement for a parking contract with St. Malachy's. Following the discussion, the board moved to approve the project.
