University Of Mary
The primary discussion revolved around the retirement of Bishop Zipl and his subsequent move to the University of Mary, specifically to the St. Joseph Residence for Men, where he will reside with the Bishop Emeritus and the Vocation Director. Significant renovations were planned for the student corridor and the construction of living spaces for the Bishop and Father Rector. Generous support for the project was acknowledged, particularly a lead gift from Alan and Karen Wolf, who have a long history of supporting vocations. Details of the renovation plans were presented, including floor plans showing the Bishop's new apartment, the Vocation Director's suite, and shared dining space, which overlooks the city of Bismarck. The space also includes a study for the Vocation Director to meet with interested young men, guest rooms, and accommodations for the Sisters, focusing on creating an environment conducive to prayer and considering vocations. The Bishop expressed his commitment to serving the community at the University.

It details the institution's establishment in 1959 by Benedictine sisters to meet educational needs, initially for their own order and subsequently for the wider community, with a focus on education and healthcare. The overview highlights the university's historical significance as the first Catholic and four-year institution in North Dakota. It further articulates the foundational vision to cultivate servant leaders committed to truth and holistic development, instilling values such as community, prayer, respect, and moderation in its students, faculty, and staff.
