This document, the Hurricane City Water Element 2025, provides a comprehensive framework for sustainable water management in Hurricane City. The Parks, Trails, and Recreation Master Plan for Hurricane City outlines a strategic vision for the development and improvement of parks, trails, and recreational facilities. The plan analyzes existing conditions, projects future needs based on population growth, and recommends improvements to meet the recreational demands of the community. It addresses financial viability, water conservation, public signage, and trail rules, and includes concept plans for specific areas like the Spilsbury/American Legion Park Complex. The plan emphasizes community engagement and aims to create vibrant outdoor spaces that promote health, well-being, and community engagement.

The Hurricane City Planning Commission meeting included public hearings on several zoning map amendment requests. These requests involved changes to zoning classifications for various parcels of land, impacting residential, commercial, and recreational resort development. The commission also discussed and considered several site plans and plats, including a Glampers Inn RV park, Peregrine Point West subdivision, Performance Fitness addition, Bajar LLC subdivision, Zion's Gate Estates Phase 2 amendment, Dixie Springs Subdivision amendment, and Painted Hills Dino Mart. A workshop on building permits in subdivisions and a City Council recap were also on the agenda.

The Hurricane City Planning Commission meeting included public hearings on zoning map amendment requests for properties located at Turf Sod Rd and 5000 West (from RA-1 to R1-10), and 122 S 200 West (from GC to RM-3). Other agenda items included discussion and consideration of a preliminary site plan for Glampers Inn, a preliminary plat for Peregrine Point West, and a final site plan amended for Performance Fitness Addition. The commission also held a workshop on building permits in subdivisions and a City Council recap.

The Power Board reviewed the Anticline Differential project, Sky Mountain Substation Equipment bids, and the installation of a power quality meter. Updates were given on the 1100 West reconductoring project, the Interruptible Power Rate approval, and the status of Generator #9's air quality permit application. Discussions included the Clean Futures Act, the 2020 Reliability Report, RECs (Renewable Energy Certificates), a capital expenditures update, the budget, and the UAMPS (Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems) drought monitor report, Enchant and Steele Solar projects, and the upcoming UAMPS Member Conference.
