The public hearing was held to review and seek public input for federal funding allocations for ESSER III (Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Funds). The allocations are based on school needs assessments integrated into CAAC's continuous improvement model. The ESSER III grant fund allocations are being considered for expanded summer school and after school programs, technology for students and teachers, professional development and trainings for instructional staff, health and safety protocols and equipment, inspection, testing, maintenance, repair, replacement, and upgrade projects in school facilities including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, and instructional materials to support programs and services.
