The Council convened to hold an executive session regarding legal counsel, real property, personnel appointments, and economic development negotiations. During the open session, the new Assistant Police Chief was administered the Oath of Office, and citizens provided comments regarding a proposed LDS Temple. The Council took action on several consent agenda items, including the authorization of a joint election agreement with Collin County, an amendment to a child abuse investigation services agreement, the approval of an amending plat for the Chamberlain Park Addition, and the appointment of a visiting municipal court judge. Additionally, staff provided various financial, police, fire, and construction reports.
