The commission discussed the establishment of an Ethics Commission Communications Policy and resolved to form an Ad Hoc Committee to work on the draft. Commissioners Fiedler and Shotwell were formally appointed to this committee. Furthermore, the commission received a status update regarding the Ethics Education Program.

The council authorized the annual assessment report for the Long Beach Tourism Business Improvement Area and approved an amendment to a pipeline crossing agreement. Additionally, the council awarded a contract for architectural and engineering services for the Sorrento Alamitos Bay Shoreline Trail project and initiated a contract for overhead door services.

Additionally, an increase in the construction contract for the Downtown Dog Park was authorized to facilitate the installation of a solar lighting system.
