Zoning Board of Adjustment Meeting
The board discussed and approved a variance request for a side yard setback at 609 Geneva Street, where an applicant proposed adding a commercial kitchen to a home intended for use as a restaurant. The variance, granted up to 3 feet and subject to historic preservation commission approval, was deemed necessary due to the angle of the north side property line and the building's orientation. Staff confirmed the project would also need to adhere to gateway overlay regulations and other zoning requirements.
