The board discussed the new JTED at Butterfield campus facility, highlighting its practical and beautiful design. Updates were provided on student enrollment figures, including daytime and central campus metrics. Board members discussed connections with the University of Arizona's College of Medicine to enhance health-related educational pathways. There were reports regarding upcoming ASBA conference presentations, nominations for the Robey award, and potential interactions with the Rotary Club of Tucson. The board meeting primarily focused on the approval of a consent agenda, which included an adjustment to a lease agreement with the Tucson Unified School District (TUSD). This adjustment was required to accommodate a newly hired full-time social worker by providing additional office space at the site. The discussion clarified that the allocated space was a former nurse's office, not a storage room, and confirmed the location of the staff member within the administrative team area.
