Canadian Mennonite University Strategic Research Plan 2021-2026
This Strategic Research Plan outlines a five-year path for research growth at Canadian Mennonite University from 2021 to 2026. The plan aims to deepen the research environment by leveraging CMU's distinct qualities, focusing on key priority areas such as community-based research, training undergraduate student researchers, interdisciplinary research, teacher research on pedagogy, publicly-facing research for social and environmental justice, and research on memory, story, reflection, and performance. The plan details an action strategy to increase research leadership and staffing, foster internal incentives, meet Tri-Council standards, grow research partnerships, and expand granting capacity, ultimately supporting faculty and student research for the benefit of the CMU community and its broader networks.
