The City of Rogers is holding a public hearing regarding the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program for the 2025 Program Year Action Plan. The primary objective of the CDBG Program is the preservation and development of viable communities by providing decent housing, a suitable living environment, economic development opportunities, public service activities and public facility improvements principally for low and moderate-income persons. The City will receive $529,588 for the 2025 Program Year. The activities to be funded include Program Administration, Public Service Programs, and Housing Services Program.

The Rogers Planning Commission meeting agenda includes several public hearings: a rezoning request for a 3.88-acre lot from agricultural to residential multifamily; a rezoning request for a 2.42-acre lot from agricultural to residential multifamily; a rezoning request for a lot from residential single-family to warehouse office; a conditional use request for an assisted living community; and a conditional use request for vehicle storage. New business includes final PUD plan reviews for several projects: Place de la Arabella (assisted living, memory care, and independent living), Splash Car Wash, Arvest Corporate Facilities, Fox Trail Distillery, and The Pentecostals church building.
