Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting
The Commission addressed two main cases. First, they approved a minor subdivision request for a tract of land within the city's three-mile planning and platting jurisdiction, clarifying the process for land in that zone. Second, they discussed a rezoning request for a proposed apartment complex, reviewing the project's adherence to zoning criteria and the city's need for increased housing stock. Additionally, the Commission warned the public about a ongoing scam targeting planning and zoning applicants regarding fraudulent payment demands.
