The council approved the allocation of the 2025 accumulated surplus to the Strategic Initiatives Reserve and passed amendments to the procurement policy to prioritize local vendors. Discussions were held regarding a responsible pet ownership bylaw, a traditional pow wow event, and capital funding for the Plamondon and District Museum Society. Additionally, the council approved the Bold Centre road network design and budget, authorized vehicle and equipment replacement plans, and approved funding for landfill repairs. In closed session, the council addressed new road construction requests, committee appointments, and received a Chief Administrative Officer update which led to the authorization to form a municipally controlled corporation.
