Alexandria City Council Public Hearing
The City Council held a public hearing where they presented proclamations for National Disability Employment Awareness Month and Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Public discussion addressed the use of automated license plate readers, procedural policy changes for Council meetings, and concerns regarding law enforcement and the court system. The Council approved several special use permits and development requests, including construction projects and athletic facilities.
