Squim City Council City Council Meeting
The finance director presented proposed changes to rates and fees for 2027, highlighting the necessity of aligning fees with the cost of services to ensure public funds do not subsidize private benefits. The proposal included updates to administration, finance, land use, building fees, and utility rates, such as adjusting water and sewer rates and clarifying hourly labor rates. Additionally, the presentation discussed the simplification of the low-income discount program and requested the council schedule a public hearing on these proposed adjustments.
