City Council Of Talladega Regular Meeting
The council approved invoices and expenditures for the City and the Water Department. Various appointments were confirmed for the Heritage Hall Commission and the Planning Commission. The council approved funding contributions for the Talladega High School football program and a Back-to-School Fun Day event. Permissions were granted for the use of City softball facilities by a travel softball organization. Ordinance #1976 was adopted to amend several job descriptions and create new positions within various City departments. Numerous resolutions were passed regarding weed abatements and public nuisance declarations for multiple properties. Additionally, the council approved travel requests for staff to attend various professional conferences.
