The manager's report included updates on membership numbers, building maintenance, personnel changes, and the ongoing recruitment process for the Senior Advocate position. Additionally, the commission discussed potential recommendations regarding financial assistance for burial costs and agreed to review the budget every six months.

The commission reviewed the progress of the affordable senior housing project, including recent funding approvals and the operational role of Community Partners for Affordable Housing. Financial approvals included the purchase of new garden umbrellas for the Dickinson Hall patio and the endorsement of grant funding for the Senior Advocate position, as well as scholarship and social services grants. Additionally, the commission addressed staffing updates, membership changes, the approval of the meeting schedule for the upcoming fiscal year, and received closing remarks and guidance from the outgoing chair.
