The task force met to discuss its goals and objectives regarding the Center for Healthcare Affordability. Key topics included understanding current drivers of healthcare spending, analyzing the impact of federal funding cuts on coverage and premiums, and defining the role of the task force in offering operational and clinical perspectives to shape future affordability reforms. Participants explored the potential for data-driven evidence to inform policy and discussed the necessity of long-term sustainable strategies for improving healthcare affordability.

The meeting agenda includes discussions on member term expirations and the summer appointment process, updates from the Artificial Intelligence and Bridging Information and Care work groups, and an examination of themes from the HTI-5 Coordinated Response regarding future engagement.
