The Paulding County Board of Commissioners held a work session meeting. Additionally, a resolution was adopted for the acquisition of real property related to a road intersection improvement project. The purchase of new submersible pumps and related equipment was approved, funded through the renewal and extension fund. Finally, a resolution was adopted to confirm an executive session for real estate purposes.
The regular session was called back in order, and a motion was made to adjourn. It was stated that no business was conducted during the closed session.
The Paulding Planning Commission meeting included discussions and decisions on two applications. The first application was for a special use permit for a worship center, which was approved with stipulations. The second application was for a special use permit for a self-storage facility, including climate-controlled, non-climate controlled, and RV storage, which was also approved. The meeting addressed concerns related to traffic, interconnectivity between parcels, and lighting requirements.
