The strategic plan for Minot Housing Authority focuses on three key areas: determining and addressing the need for additional low-income housing opportunities in Ward County and North Central Region, North Dakota; administering housing programs for underserved populations such as the elderly and persons with disabilities; and fostering community partnerships to develop and meet common goals. The plan aims to maximize the Housing Choice Voucher Program, fill housing voids, acquire or build new units, identify underserved segments, maintain existing public housing, administer the Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program, and engage with other civic agencies to provide resources and services.
