Village of Mattawan Zoning Board of Appeals Minutes
The Board discussed a variance request regarding a proposed restaurant property to allow for a drive-through facility. Key points of discussion included the interpretation of the ordinance definition of predominately, the demonstration of practical difficulty, and potential traffic impacts. After an initial failed vote on the request, the Board moved to reconsider the matter and eventually granted approval for the variance, conditional upon the applicant meeting all other zoning requirements through the site plan review process.
