Lavaca-Navidad River Authority Board of Directors Board Meeting
The Board meeting included a review of the General Manager's report, which covered various infrastructure and recreation projects, including the Palmetto Bend Dam Gantry Crane Project, ROW Gate Project, and BRC and Texana Church Flatwork Project. The Board approved the annual cybersecurity and artificial intelligence compliance training and authorized Capital Improvement Fund expenditures for roadway repairs at the Brackenridge Recreation Complex and LNRA Headquarters. Additionally, Black and Veatch was selected as the consultant for the seventh cycle of regional water management planning. The Board also approved a task authorization for Freese and Nichols regarding engineering support for the East Delivery System Pipeline Cross-connection Project and received updates on the West Delivery System Pump Station Expansion, Dam Safety Remediation Project, Lake Texana Yield Enhancement, and proposed recreational developments.
