The work session included discussions on Lake County Mental Health recommendations for a new board member and an advisory board meeting update. Additionally, the Board reviewed Lake County policies and procedures concerning community service work referrals and credits, and addressed business related to the Iberdrola agreement and resolution.

The work session agenda included a working update, a notice of appeal to the Planning Commission regarding a conditional use permit, the final plat map for Sage Hen Heights Phase I, and scheduling for pool vehicles. Additionally, the board discussed the Oregon Workforce Alliance, a facility lease for Gretch-Ken Industries, Inc., responses to comments concerning the Alkali Lake Chemical Waste Disposal site, and a railroad insurance update.

The work session agenda included a therapy dog update, a review of the Klamath Housing Authority, and various department-specific business. Discussion items included road department matters such as right-of-way permits and a solid waste proposal amendment, juvenile and community services agreements and equipment quotes, and the designation of a newspaper by the Assessor's Office. Business department items covered a transfer of funds, a county surveyor resignation, and staffing recommendations. Additionally, the session addressed county land matters including deed restrictions and land sale contracts, as well as office and nuisance updates.

The agenda for the Board of Commissioners session includes a public hearing regarding the 2011-2012 Fiscal Year Budget, alongside other business items such as the consideration of a Memorandum of Understanding for the Southern Oregon Clean Energy Alliance. Additionally, the Board is scheduled to address Resolution No. 2010-018, a county cell phone policy, and conduct departmental and legal updates, with an executive session planned.

The Board of Commissioners discussed various administrative and community matters, including a presentation from the Lake County Community College Advisory Committee and an analysis of the pros and cons of a mental health non-profit. The session also covered fairgrounds maintenance, the Warner Canyon Ski Hill lease, and the airport ground lease. Additionally, the Board reviewed a mental health intergovernmental agreement and received updates from the Road Department regarding a fund exchange agreement.
