District Board Of Trustees Tallahassee State College Business Meeting And Workshop
The board meeting included remarks from the chair and trustees, discussions on faculty and staff achievements, and the launch of new academic programs. Legislative updates regarding budget requests for campus expansions were presented, and the college's status as a finalist for the Aspen Institute Prize was highlighted. Presentations were made by community partners regarding their continued support and sponsorship of college events. The board approved several items, including attorney invoices, human resource reports, academic curriculum changes, contract recommendations, the disposal of surplus property, college personnel and facility usage, a capital improvement plan, sponsored program funding, the operating budget for the 2026-2027 fiscal year, and updates to the salary schedule.
