City Council of the City of Thibodaux Regular Meeting
The City Council conducted a regular session during which they approved the re-appointment of a member to the Civil Service Board and authorized Change Order No. 1 for the Bowie Road Sidewalk Project. Several ordinances were introduced for public hearing regarding sewer service charges, natural gas rates, water rates, and a beautification grant. The Council ratified agreements for Master Plan and Geographic Information System projects at the Thibodaux Municipal Airport, as well as general aviation maintenance funding. Additionally, the Council approved the re-division plat of property in Levert Business and Industrial Park and authorized a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement with the Office of Louisiana Highway Construction for the Canal Boulevard Bridge Replacement Project. The Mayor provided updates on city projects, including drainage and park improvements, and discussed issues regarding traffic restrictions and property maintenance.
