The Education for Employment (E4E) / Academic & Career Plan (ACP) for 2025-2026 supports the district's mission by connecting learning to students' future plans and goals. The plan supports the district's mission of empowering growth, connection, and success through a student-driven process that increases motivation, engagement, and self-awareness. Key initiatives include career readiness activities across grade levels (6-8), utilizing the Xello platform for career exploration, providing career and technical education, fostering community partnerships, and offering professional development for staff. The plan aims to prepare students for post-secondary success by connecting learning to future plans and goals, emphasizing social-emotional learning, and providing individualized support for students with IEPs, 504 plans, and English Language Learners. This agenda item focuses on the identification and notification of approved academic standards in math, science, social studies, and reading & writing (English Language Arts) for the 2023-2024 school year. The district is committed to using benchmarked and rigorous standards aligned with Wisconsin Academic Standards to prepare students for college and career success. The standards in mathematics, science, social studies, and reading & writing (English Language Arts) adopted in summer 2023 or prior will remain in effect for the 2023-2024 school year.

The board discussed and approved a plan for credit reimbursement payments, deciding to add these amounts to the base salary of eligible employees and ending the yearly reimbursement. They also decided to remain mask optional for the 8th-grade promotion.

The school board meeting included a discussion and approval of the 2021-2022 school district budget and tax levy. Other key topics were the approval of sports and clubs, hiring a consultant for inclusive practices and equity work, approval of a contract with NATC and Rite-way, approval of a transportation waiver, approval of teacher contracts, approval of resignations, and review of a public participation policy (which was tabled and sent back to the Policy Committee for review). The meeting also included presentations on summer school review, student verification, mentor/mentee programming, the district's COVID plan, and an update on Nicolet Partner Schools.
