BoardBoard of Education Meeting
The meeting included principal's reports from elementary, middle, and high schools, covering topics such as school programs, academic testing, extracurricular activities, and staff recognition. An audit report was reviewed and accepted. KASB policy updates were reviewed, with recommendations to be made at a later meeting. An E3 Safety App was reviewed, and discussion took place regarding its implementation. Three calendar options for the 2025-2026 school year were presented, with a final decision to be made in January. Executive sessions were held to discuss personnel issues and the superintendent's evaluation, resulting in a one-year extension of the superintendent's contract.
