Subdivision And Development Appeal Board Of Mountain View County Decision
The Board heard an appeal regarding a development permit for a single detached dwelling with temporary RV accommodation and a setback relaxation. The appellant raised concerns regarding construction without a permit, non-compliance with local bylaws, and negative impacts on property values. The respondent and applicant provided counterarguments regarding compliance efforts and the discretionary nature of the permits. Ultimately, the Board denied the appeal and upheld the original decision, with specific amended conditions regarding setback verification by a land surveyor and time limits on temporary RV occupancy.
