Board Of Trustees Executive Committee Meeting Minutes
The Executive Committee discussed and approved the FY28-29 Biennial State Operating Budget Request, with authorization for the Board Chair to increase the amount if deemed necessary. The committee received updates on ongoing meetings with elected officials regarding the proposed combination of the Chancellor and UNH President positions, as well as an update on a requested performance audit of the System. Additional topics included the Keene State College presidential search, a response to a U.S. Education Department call to action, and a proposal to revert capital planning oversight to the Financial Affairs Committee. During a nonpublic session, the committee ratified a collective bargaining agreement with the NEA Law Faculty Union. The committee also touched upon progress in budget mitigation proposals and shared services.
