La Crosse County Opioid Response Plan 2026-2035
The RISE Opioid Response Plan for La Crosse County establishes a coordinated, system-level approach to address substance use and overdose. The plan outlines three main pillars: Justice Support, Family Strengthening, and Treatment Access. Funded by national opioid litigation settlements, this ten-year initiative, commencing in 2026, aims to improve existing services, close critical gaps, and foster long-term solutions. Key objectives include enhancing access to treatment and recovery, strengthening inter-provider connections, reducing care barriers, supporting individuals and families in recovery, and alleviating pressure on high-cost systems to ultimately reduce overdose deaths and build a healthier, safer community.
