The Tulare Joint Union High School District's 2014-2015 Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) focuses on improving student achievement in English Language Arts and Mathematics, ensuring access to instructional technology, implementing ELD and Common Core State Standards, increasing parental involvement, and implementing the next phase of the facility master plan. The plan includes specific actions such as providing PLC/PD release time for teachers, offering ELA and mathematics support courses, implementing credit recovery programs, and increasing counselor support, alongside initiatives to involve parents and improve communication.

The special board meeting included the presentation of Student Academic Achievement Awards for Opportunity Education, recognizing students from Tulare Tech Prep High School, Countryside High School, Sierra Vista Charter High School, Accelerated Charter High School, and Tulare Adult Education for their outstanding academic achievements.
