BoardMoriah Central School Annual Meeting, Budget Vote And Election
The meeting conducted the annual budget vote and election of board members. Key agenda items included voting on three propositions: Proposition #1 regarding the authorization to expend $16,756,338; Proposition #2 regarding the purchase of two school buses at a cost not to exceed $186,327.32, including associated tax and bond issuance; and Proposition #3 concerning a proposal to reduce the number of Board of Education members from nine to seven. Additionally, the election results for a three-year term seat on the Board of Education were finalized.
