Northwest Indian College Strategic Plan 2026-2032
The 2026-2032 Strategic Plan for Northwest Indian College is rooted in the Lummi Nation's history and aims to promote Indigenous self-determination and knowledge. The plan outlines six strategic objectives: strengthening institution-wide communication, expanding site-based services and resource allocation, implementing a comprehensive Indigenous reconciliation framework, enhancing institutional capacity for sustained growth across funding, facilities, academics, and personnel, building community through reciprocal relationships, and providing holistic student-centered support and integrated services. The overarching vision is to prepare students and advance tribal communities by ensuring they attain the academic and cultural knowledge, skills, and values to positively impact Tribal communities.
