The strategic plan for the Agency of Commerce and Community Development (ACCD) focuses on improving the quality of life for Vermonters and building strong communities. Key areas of focus include supporting the growth of existing Vermont businesses and attracting new ones through technology commercialization, increasing revenue from rooms and meals taxes through targeted out-of-state marketing, growing the number of net new housing units at all income levels, and increasing Vermont workforce numbers by re-engaging discouraged workers and minimizing barriers to employment.
