BCCC Board of Trustees Regular Meeting
The board reviewed the Treasurer's report and enrollment data. The President provided updates on state funding advocacy for community colleges, recent and upcoming college events including anniversaries and the Kids on Campus program, and the reception of a significant bequest. The Finance committee secured approval for the 2023-2024 budget, tuition policies, insurance renewals, and a lease extension for the Brockway facility. Facilities updates included the completion of the Nursing and Allied Health Building. The Personnel committee addressed policy revisions for nepotism and admissions, as well as wage increases for staff. Additionally, the board approved naming recognitions, elected new officers for the upcoming year, and confirmed the schedule for future board meetings.
