BoardEconomic Development Committee Meeting Minutes
The committee reviewed a presentation from Nunez Community College concerning their Aerospace Manufacturing Technology program and received an overview from the Office of Economic Development regarding a proposed overhaul of the Restoration Tax Abatement program. Furthermore, the committee authorized a contract amendment for security services at Gordon Plaza and Lincoln Beach, and approved a new subrecipient agreement with the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority for the redevelopment of the former Six Flags property, which includes compliance requirements for American Rescue Act funds.
