Royal Canadian Mounted Police National Recruitment Strategy 2026-2029
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police National Recruitment Strategy outlines an organization-wide approach to reforming regular member recruitment. It focuses on three key priorities: transforming processing by modernizing technology to reduce applicant processing time, hiring the right people by defining target profiles and implementing comprehensive workforce planning, and aligning efforts through a coordinated approach to recruitment, staffing, and training. The strategy also includes a commitment to First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples recruitment, aiming to attract and retain diverse, skilled future police officers who embody RCMP core values and reflect the communities served.
