The City Council discussed the status and potential future of the College Park Roundabout Fountain, which has suffered from equipment failure and flooding, as well as general wear and tear. The Council reviewed ownership and maintenance responsibilities, clarifying that while the City owns the feature, the Homeowners Association has traditionally managed it. Furthermore, the meeting addressed the infeasibility of the originally proposed equestrian bridge crossing the Cypress Channel and reviewed options for redirecting funds originally intended for a horse riding area. The Council also explored the ownership status of Constellation Park and considered options for the potential redesign and reconstruction of the fountain feature.

The 2025 Urban Water Management Plan for the City of Chino serves as a roadmap for long-term water resource planning and management, ensuring adequate water supplies for current and future demands through 2050. It details the city's water system, characterizes past, current, and projected water use, and outlines compliance with water efficiency requirements. Key focus areas include comprehensive assessment of diverse water supply sources, evaluation of water service reliability under normal and drought conditions, and a robust Water Shortage Contingency Plan with defined demand reduction measures and emergency protocols. The plan also emphasizes ongoing demand management initiatives, public education, and efficient use of urban water resources to promote conservation and secure future water needs.

The council meeting included the certification of the November General Municipal Election results and the swearing-in of the re-elected mayor and council members. Presentations were held for the Police Department’s new K9 unit, the annual Chino youth Christmas parade decoration winners, the Della Robbia wreath program of Boys Republic, and a special recognition by the Chino Valley Medical Center for first responders.
