Planning & Zoning Commission Official Proceedings
The Commission addressed several zoning and land use requests. This included the approval of a special use permit for an auto repair shop in a neighborhood commercial district with specific conditions. The Commission also denied a request to modify an existing billboard to include electronic messaging in a large-scale commercial district to prevent sign clutter. Furthermore, a rezoning request for a property from arterial office to multi-family residential was approved. Finally, the Commission approved an amendment to a special use ordinance to allow the construction of four apartment buildings, subject to numerous conditions including landscaping and sidewalk/path requirements, and held an election for the positions of Chairman and Vice-Chairman.
