Carver Public Schools School Committee School Committee Meeting
The committee recognized students for MCAS performance and received updates from student ambassadors and athletic representatives. Discussion items included personnel updates, findings from the Youth Risk Behavior Survey, the CMHS Athletic Banner project, and a comprehensive review of MCAS scores and district accountability data. The committee reviewed the capital improvement plan, enrollment figures, and exit survey data. Financial actions included the approval of budget transfers and a state grant. Numerous policies were reviewed and approved, covering topics such as gifts, fundraising, booster organizations, visitor access, nutritional meal modifications, and pathway exploration. Initial readings were conducted for policies regarding graduation requirements and competency determinations, and two upcoming student field trips were approved.
