The Greenfield Exempted Village School District's Visible Learning Plan for 2020-2025 aims to cultivate a culture of visible learning and leadership, empowering students and staff to embrace challenges, persevere, and continuously grow. The plan focuses on clarity for learning and feedback, promoting teacher credibility, and utilizing evidence-based strategies to improve student outcomes and engagement.

The Greenfield Exempted Village School District held a special meeting where attendees participated in the pledge of allegiance. The board addressed public participation regarding an employment resolution. An executive session was held to discuss the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion, or compensation of a public employee and student matters. The board also addressed the non-renewal of the Pupil Activity Contract for the Head Basketball Coach.

The Greenfield Exempted Village School District Board of Education held a regular meeting. The board members approved the meeting agenda. A presentation was given on the after school program entitled "ASK". The Board also discussed the Great Oaks Joint Vocational Report and legislative matters. The consent agenda items were approved, including the Treasurer's Report for March, the resignation of Randy Closson, and the employment of summer maintenance/custodial help. The board addressed the non-renewal of supplemental, pupil activity, and school activity contracts, as well as the non-renewal of a pupil activity contract for 7th grade Volleyball. They also discussed employment agenda items and went into an executive session to discuss the purchase or sale of real property. The special meeting date for the selection of scholarship awards was set for May 2, 2018.

The Greenfield Exempted Village School District held its organizational meeting. The board appointed officers, including the President and Vice-President, and selected members for various roles such as OSBA Legislative Liaison, OSBA Delegate, and OSBA Student Achievement Liaison. They also appointed representatives to the City Recreation Commission. The board approved appointments for General Legal Counsel and Bond Counsel. Membership in several organizations was maintained. The Superintendent and Treasurer were appointed as designees for Public Records Law training. An operating resolution was established, and the time and dates for board meetings were set. The 2019 Tax Budget was approved. An executive session was held for the consideration of the employment of a public employee.

The meeting included a presentation regarding the 2.7 mill levy renewal for Great Oaks. The board discussed and approved several items, including the treasurer's report, acceptance of a resignation, authorization for EPC to bid for natural gas, approval of a 5-year forecast, and revisions to several policies. The board also discussed employment matters in executive session and approved recommendations for employment of classified and certified substitutes, as well as certified and non-certified personnel for supplemental positions. Finally, the board accepted the resignation of the superintendent.
